This author has short stories that average the length of an average Indie author book! This however, even if it is a full length novel is a very short read by SK standards. We have a 9 year old girl, big for her age whom gets lost in the woods. 99% of this book has absolutely nothing to do with anything paranormal. Still it may be one of the scariest books I have read in forever. The pace, the little girl. The sub plot. Everything here works to create a perfect storm! I read a paperback copy of this book! It may have added to my overall enjoyment. WaAr
