My review

The Legion of Bats by Shadow Stephens
I received this book for review for an upcoming book blog hop.  I accepted it eagerly based on the title alone.  Was I in for a surprise?  The book is a roller coaster ride of non stop action and Zoe and Todd has an interesting dynamic in the story.  I loved the fact that from the start of the story Zoe was never ever a victim.  By the end of the book she is a force to be reckoned with!
I loved the love affair in the book and the fact that Zoe's love story is fast moving and comes to a point with force, no teenage angst in sight.  Icharus is an interesting and engaging character and the pace of the fight  scenes, the fact that she READS and does research about what is happening in her life is a fact which  I adored.  Zoe is a unique character and with that still a character that I am sure readers would be able to connect with.  I really, really liked this book and would suggest and recommend it to all readers with specific relevance to lovers of Young Adult novels.  I give this book a 5 ***** review and I for one cannot wait for the next book by Shadow.
